Belonging and Coming Back Home

In our fast-paced world, where grand gestures often steal the spotlight, it's easy to overlook the transformative power of small acts of kindness and intimate connections. This week's episode features the launch of our new audio journal series, "Belonging and Coming Back Home," takes us on a heartfelt journey to rediscover the essence of community and belonging.

Growing up on a small farm in Morning View, Kentucky, I always felt a deep sense of connection and belonging within my community. But it was a chance encounter with our family friend, Sheila Redman, at a local county fair that rekindled this feeling in me. Her warm words served as a poignant reminder of the importance of recognizing and valuing each other's true selves, a sentiment that inspired this podcast series and a book I wrote for my daughters, filled with life lessons and bonding exercises.

In this episode, we explore how small gestures can have a big impact on our sense of belonging. This is an invitation to join me each week as we build a nurturing community, sharing gratitude, creativity, and support in our journeys toward fulfilling our heart's callings.

This episode is more than just a conversation; it's an invitation to reflect on the small moments that bring us back to our true selves. It's about creating a community that nurtures and supports each other's journeys. So, grab your journal and join me in this exploration of belonging and kindness. What small gesture will you make today to create a sense of belonging for someone else? Let's embark on this journey together, one simple act at a time.
